DOTS Email Validation (EV) is a Web service that easily integrates into any CRM system to provide validity and metadata information about email addresses. Using a combination of systems, the newest release is the fastest, smartest and most accurate email validation service available.

DOTS Email ValidationSM thoroughly tests each email address and determines a quality score based on results. The new release has added flags to identify established SPAM addresses, aliases, vulgar, bogus, SMS gateway, business and role-based addresses. It also flags first and last names used in email addresses, to help you update your email list with information to personalize your email campaigns.

Beyond simple syntax verification, DOTS Email Validation performs multi-layered testing, including SMTP-level checks to verify that a domain exists and has a valid MX record. It then determines if the mail server will accept any email address (catch-all) and if it will accept a specific address.
