Description
A real-world application using DOTS Contact Validation Web services: this example provides a useful plug-in for Microsoft Excel that uses DOTS Email Validation to perform validation of large email lists through a simple one click interface. All source files are included for your inspection and use.
How to use:
- Extract the example file to your desktop or desired location.
- Open the DOTSEmailValidationBatch.xslx file located in "DOTSEmailValidationBatch\DOTSEmailValidationBatch\bin\Debug" folder. The Excel file should be in the same folder as the DOTSEmailValidationBatch.dll file.

Next, you will go get your keys, toolkit and framework (if necessary) .
► Get a trial key: The example is coded to use our trial servers,
so to use it as-is, you will need to obtain a trial key*
► Download Visual Studio Tools for Office toolkit**
► Download Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework***
- Enter the required data, press the invoke button and review response data.
* Trial keys are free to use for 30 days
** To be able to run the DOTS Email Validation Add-in for Excel, you are required to install Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO)
*** If you are running Vista or newer, or Windows Server 2008 or newer, the .Net 2.0 Framework should already be installed on your computer
