Sales Manager (Salt Lake City)

We’re looking for an experienced, motivated Sales Manager to help coach and lead our Sales team. In this role, you will lead our inside sales staff to generate new business and develop a scalable process to nurture new prospects, implement and monitor enablement programs, and identify our target verticals. Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in an environment with a strong focus on process, constant iteration and collaboration. Our ideal candidate will be driven and focused on meeting KPI’s.

In this role, you’ll be laser-focused on helping your team connect with product and project managers, looking to boost their offerings by empowering SaaS applications to take control of their customer data. This position will play a huge part in helping us build a long-term outbound sales strategy that is authentically SO. (If you’re not familiar with us, keep reading—you’ll catch our vibe.)

Qualifications and Requirements*

  • You’re located somewhere in Salt Lake City area. This one is a must.
  • You have minimum of 3 years of successful experience with B2B SaaS sales management.
  • You have a proven track record of leading a team to meet quotas.
  • You’ve demonstrated consistent and persistent sales prospecting to identify new revenue opportunities and progress them through the entire sales cycle.
  • You have experience in the B2B information provider space.
  • You’re attentive to forecasting and department reporting responsibilities.

Competitive Compensation

The starting on-target earning for this position is $189,000 with an uncapped commission plan. You win and we pay you for your success—yay!

What Success Looks Like

Our goal is to make sure that every customer record in every system is accurate and genuine – and for the whole planet. No small chore, right? In 2024, we're focused on establishing Service Objects as the leading provider of customer data validation (CDV) solutions.

In this position you will:

  • Work hand-in-hand with our marketing and leadership teams to discuss goals, prioritize projects, and execute on sales strategy.
  • Proactively research, qualify, and cultivate new leads and markets for our customer data validation services.
  • Utilize phone, email, social media, and outbound marketing campaigns for direct prospect and customer communication.
  • Prepare, issue, and follow through on proposals and quotes for prospective customers.
  • Join forces with our amazing support team to create a smooth handoff between sales and customer care.

This is a full-time, exempt position. However, we want everyone to have a happy life outside of SO, and we seldom work more than 40 hours per week. There are occasions were things get busy and you may be expected to put in some extra time. We work hard and smart so we can stay in this for the long haul.

Since 2020 we’ve been a fully remote team and we plan to stay permanently remote. In this role we expect you to live in Salt Lake City area. You’ll be working with folks predominately on the West Coast of the United States for a significant portion of your time.
