Service Objects is joining One Tree Planted in its efforts to repopulate the state with over one million new trees

SANTA BARBARA, CA (February 27, 2019) –  Service Objects, the leading provider of real-time global contact validation solutions, is currently working in partnership with One Tree Planted to plant 10 trees in California for each new customer signing up for its services.

This is one of the ways that we try to give back to the areas we serve, for a cause that is very close to our hearts.

A recent CNN report notes that more than 147 million trees have died across California's 9.7 million acres of federal, state, local and private lands since 2010. In 2018 alone, an estimated 18 million trees died in California as a result of factors such as drought, disease and wildfires.

In response to this major environmental challenge, Service Objects is joining with 500 participating companies who have each promised to plant at least 2000 trees in California through One Tree Planted, with a goal of repopulating the state with over one million new trees.

“One of the reasons we decided to partner with One Tree Planted was that they gave us the ability to request the geographic location of the trees that are planted,” said Geoff Grow, Chief Executive Officer at Service Objects. “This year we chose to focus on our company’s home state of California, particularly because of all the devastation this state has faced as a result of recent wildfires and other environmental issues.
