Helps fight fraud by identifying card type and issuing bank

Using the first 6 digits of a payment card number from anywhere in the world, our Bank Identification Number (BIN) service identifies the issuing bank name, country of issue and card type, such as: gift, prepaid, credit, charge or debit. Companies use this information to cross reference with order details such as address and phone number to evaluate potential fraud risks. Our international database contains over 150,000 worldwide BINs, also known as Issuer Identification Numbers (IIN), is updated regularly, and covers over 95% of global credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
