DOTS Address Geocode – US (AG-US) is a programmable XML Web Service that can be integrated with any Web-enabled development platform to translate street addresses to exact latitude, longitude, block, tract, county and other information derived from these coordinates.
What does it do?
AG-US appends latitude and longitude information at the property-level match for virtually any address which successfully standardizes. It instantly checks addresses against our extensive public and proprietary databases: the U.S. Census Bureau, TIGER/Line® (Topologically Integrated Graphic Encoding and Referencing) file, USPS® ZIP+4 tables, and other proprietary databases. |
DOTS Address Geocode – USSM has many operations available that make it a versatile geocoding tool. It can be used to find lat/lon values with cascading accuracy, get reverse location by translating latitude and longitude information to find street addresses; find the closest body of salt water or append FIPS state codes (FIPS 5-2) and FIPS county codes (FIPS 6-4) to street addresses, to name a few.
