DOTS Address Geocode - US is a programmable Web Service hosted by Service Objects and used by businesses to append latitude and longitude information to street addresses that are gathered and/or stored within their software applications, Web sites, or other business contact dependent processes. DOTS Address Geocode – USSM instantly determines latitude and longitude coordinates based on your United States street addresses. It does this by checking the address against our extensive databases comprised of public and proprietary data like the U.S. Census Bureau, TIGER/Line® (Topologically Integrated Graphic Encoding and Referencing), and USPS ZIP+4® just to name a few. The combination of these and other data sources improves geocoding accuracy and guarantees a property-level match for virtually any address which successfully standardizes.

DOTS Address Geocode - US also has unique reverse geocoding functionality. Reverse geocoding is the ability to translate latitude & longitude coordinates to find a street address. For example, DOTS Address Geocode – US can find the nearest address for applications with latitude & longitude coordinates (which can be acquired from GPS, a wireless cell phone, or a database).
