DOTS Name Validation (NV) is a hosted, programmable XML Web Service that allows users to validate and parse single-field names into components: Prefix, First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Suffix, Gender while also determining gender and origin of the name. Our powerful and easy-to-use name validation tool is ideal for Web forms, forcing Web site visitors to enter their real name and ensuring that the billing and delivery addresses they provide are complete and accurate.

- Parses full names into individual fields
- Identifies more than 30,000 first names and 80,000 last names

- Detects garbage name inputs. For example, asdf,fghjt, and kkkatie would return as garbage

- Detects and identifies bogus names. For example, Homer Simpson and Mickey Mouse would be flagged.
