Service Objects Expands Contact Data Quality on Snowflake with Three Native Apps

Snowflake customers can now validate addresses, analyze names, and add geographic context to address data from their Snowflake workflows.

As organizations bring more customer, operational, and analytical workloads into Snowflake, the quality of the decisions made from that data still depends on the quality of the information underneath it.

An address that looks valid may not actually be deliverable. A name field may contain incomplete, inconsistent, or questionable information. And an address without geographic context can limit everything from territory planning and risk analysis to customer experience.

Service Objects is bringing its contact data quality capabilities closer to where Snowflake teams already work. Address Validation 3 US has been available on Snowflake Marketplace and is now joined by two more applications:

  • Name Validation 3 – Validate, classify, parse, and evaluate name data.
  • Address Geocode US – Convert US addresses into geographic coordinates and associated location information.

Together, the three applications give Snowflake customers a way to improve critical contact and location data through their existing Snowflake workflows without exporting files or building and maintaining a separate customer-managed API workflow.

Data quality where the data already lives

Many data quality workflows still require teams to move information between systems, export and process files, or build and maintain separate integrations.

These applications are designed to simplify that process. Teams invoke the relevant function or procedure using SQL, the required fields are sent to the Service Objects API for processing, and the results are returned to Snowflake for use in tables and downstream workflows.

Validated and enriched data can then become part of analytics, customer workflows, applications, and AI initiatives rather than the output of another disconnected data preparation process.

Three applications, one data quality foundation

Each application addresses a different part of the customer data quality challenge.

Address Validation 3 US

A postal address can be correctly formatted and still be incomplete, inaccurate, or undeliverable. Address Validation 3 US validates and standardizes US addresses against authoritative postal data and returns enriched address information that can support customer onboarding, direct mail, compliance communications, analytics, and master data initiatives.

Teams can identify deliverability issues and access address attributes including delivery point information, residential indicators, ZIP+4 information, and other standardized postal details.

Because address quality is often an input to fraud and risk workflows, validated address data can also feed the models and rules teams already run. The application validates addresses. It does not detect fraud or score customers, and it is not a substitute for the systems that do.

The Snowflake application is designed for table-based validation of data already stored in Snowflake rather than point-of-entry validation in a web form.

Name Validation 3

Names are one of the most common and least consistent elements in customer and identity data. Name Validation 3 brings machine-learning-driven name analysis into Snowflake. It validates, classifies, and parses names and returns confidence and risk signals that help teams better understand what is actually stored in their name fields.

The application combines machine learning models, reference data, and validation logic to distinguish between people, businesses, questionable inputs, and other name types while breaking names into usable components.

This can support customer data management, onboarding, identity-resolution workflows, CRM hygiene, analytics, and risk processes.

Address Geocode US

For many workflows, knowing an address is valid is only the beginning. Organizations also need to know where it is.

Address Geocode US adds latitude, longitude, and associated geographic information to US address data.

The application searches for the most precise match available. When a property-level match is not available, cascading match logic attempts progressively broader geographic levels to return the closest available match.

That gives teams structured geographic inputs for location analytics, customer segmentation, territory planning, logistics, site selection, and risk analysis.

What your security team needs to know

Each application is a Snowflake Native App that uses an External Access Integration to reach the Service Objects API.

When a user runs one of the applications, the required input fields are sent to the relevant Service Objects API through an External Access Integration authorized in Snowflake. The result is returned to Snowflake, and Service Objects does not retain the submitted data.

Customers can review the external access being requested, approve it, and revoke that access when needed.

There is no separate file-transfer process or customer-managed API integration to build and maintain, and no copy of the submitted data is retained by Service Objects after processing.

Available through Snowflake Marketplace

All three applications are available through Snowflake Marketplace.

For listings that support Marketplace Capacity Drawdown, eligible Snowflake customers enrolled in MCD can use a reserved portion of their committed Snowflake capacity toward Marketplace purchases.

This can give eligible customers another way to procure Service Objects capabilities through their existing Snowflake relationship.

Bringing contact data quality into the modern data stack

For more than two decades, Service Objects has focused on improving the quality of the contact data behind customer interactions, business processes, and critical decisions.

As those workloads move into cloud data platforms, the way organizations consume data quality services has to move with them.

Companies increasingly want data quality to be part of their existing data infrastructure rather than another process sitting outside it. Bringing address validation, name validation, and geocoding to Snowflake gives teams a simpler way to improve critical customer data from the workflows they already use.

A foundation for trusted contact data in Snowflake

The expansion of Service Objects’ Snowflake portfolio brings three complementary data quality capabilities together around a common goal: helping organizations improve the data they already rely on inside Snowflake.

Together, they provide a broader foundation for improving contact and location data across analytics, customer operations, applications, and AI initiatives.

Snowflake brings an organization’s data together. These applications help make the contact data inside it more accurate, usable, and trustworthy.

All three applications include a 20-day free trial with full-quality outputs, giving teams the opportunity to evaluate them using their own data before purchasing.
