Santa to Use DOTS Address Geocode, Rudolph’s Fears Allayed

SANTA BARBARA, CA — December 23, 2008 — Service Objects announced today that its Web Service will play an important role as Santa Claus drives his sleigh around the world tomorrow night. Now that Santa’s sleigh is equipped with GPS tracking and DOTS Address Geocode, Santa will be able to perform property-level geocoding so he can plot his route better than ever.

Unnamed sources report that Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer expressed concern that DOTS Address Geocode might make him obsolete. Santa, however, assures us that the lead reindeer will still be needed. “When it’s foggy, I need that glowing red nose so I don’t collide with any low-flying aircraft!” the jolly old man said.

Customers from all over the world rely on DOTS Address Geocode as a trusted source to provide latitude and longitude information. NORAD uses several high-tech systems to track Santa, but GPS plays a vital role. The moment that Santa lifts off, he will use DOTS Address Geocode to locate children around the world.
