Snowflake Native Apps
Service Objects on Snowflake
Service Objects brings three data quality capabilities to Snowflake as Native Apps. Address Validation 3 US (AV3) validates and standardizes US addresses, Name Validation 3 (NV3) validates, classifies, and parses names, and Address Geocode US (AGUS) turns US addresses into coordinates and location information.
Each app is installed from Snowflake Marketplace and invoked using SQL against data already in Snowflake.
Secure, customer-authorized access
Each app connects to the relevant Service Objects API through an External Access Integration that you explicitly authorize in Snowflake and can revoke at any time.
Only the required fields are sent for processing. Results are returned to Snowflake, and Service Objects does not store or retain the submitted data.
